• At Plantman we are revolutionizing the future of neurodegenerative disease treatment by unlocking the potential of plant-based protein folding and degradation mechanisms, offering a pioneering platform focused on designing a therapy to prevent pathogenic protein aggregation in Huntington’s disease (HD).
• The HD total addressable market exceeded USD $9.6B, and is projected to grow at 13.8% CAGR, reaching an estimated $918M by 2030 in the US, Germany, and UK.
• We identified a fundamental mechanism that regulates and prevents protein aggregation in both plants and human cells. We then designed a platform to rewire protein aggregation mechanisms from plants to generate novel therapeutic candidates for various neurodegenerative diseases.
